My experience

Former Associate Legal Officer at the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS), I have been working on the maritime dispute between Bangladesh and Myanmar in the Bay of Bengal (case 16), the first Advisory Opinion of ITLOS related to Responsibilities and obligations of States sponsoring persons and entities with respect to activities in the Area (case 17), as well as the M/V “Louisa case” (Saint Vincent and the Grenadines v. Kingdom of Spain) (case 18) and the M/V “Virginia G” case (Panama/Guinea-Bissau) (case 19).

I have been also working as a consultant for the World Health Organisation on international economic law issues dealing with the Protocol on Illicit Trade in Tobacco Products.

My expertise in Public International Law led me to be invited to contribute to a number of reports of the World Bank related to International Human Rights, International Criminal Law and French Criminal law. In 2012, I have been also invited to contribute to the “P-ACP States Regional Legislative and Regulatory Framework for Deep Sea Minerals Exploration and Exploitation” of the Secretariat of the Pacific Community. I have been also acting as an expert in Public International Law and Law of the Sea for the French Economic Social and Environmental Counsel  in relation to its Advice on the Extended Continental Shelf as well as for the private sector (AESMA).

I have been actively involved with think tanks

I have been also actively involved with Think tanks in Asia Pacific, which

think tanks (Emerging Leaders Dialogue, Victorian Climate Change Adaptation Center), research centers (Australian National Centre for Ocean Resources and Security, Group of International Resources Law), associations (Geostrategic Maritime Observatory, Blue Networks & Opportunities), and the private sector and law firms (Blake Dawson Waldron, BHM-Penlaw, Eversheds and now as a sole practitioner) strengthened my practice of Public International Law and made me a true international citizen.
